Step-by-Step Programming Instructions:

Note: Adding a new key requires having two valid keys. If you do not possess two functioning keys, a locksmith must program the key for you.

1. Begin by inserting the first valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position for a minimum of three seconds but no more than 15 seconds. Then, switch the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the first key.

2. Insert the second valid key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 15 seconds. After 10 seconds, a chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will start flashing. Switch the ignition switch to the LOCK position and remove the second key.

3. Next, insert the new key into the ignition switch. Turn the ignition switch to the ON/RUN position within 60 seconds. After 10 seconds, a single chime will sound, and the Vehicle Security Light will cease flashing. Upon completion, the Vehicle Security Light will briefly turn on and then turn off. Your new key is now programmed. The Remote Keyless Entry transmitter will also be programmed during this procedure. Repeat this process to program up to eight keys.
